Call for Proposals
Theme and Scope: Ergonomics for All
PPCOE2010, evolving from the distinguished Pan-Pacific Conference on Occupational Ergonomics, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. We cordially invite scholars and practitioners around the world to participate in the forum where ergonomic developments in the pan-pacific region and the interplay of these advances to the whole globe will be exchanged and disseminated. Typical topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:
- Anthropometry - Cognitive ergonomics - Digital human modeling
- Digital learning & training - Ergonomics in manufacturing - Ergonomics modeling
- Healthcare & special populations - Human-computer interaction - Macro ergonomics
- Occupational ergonomics - Physical ergonomics & biomechanics - Safety & Warning
- Usability design - Vehicle & transportation systems - Virtual environments, etc.
Submission Category and Important Dates
PPCOE 2010 welcomes contribution in the form of papers and posters. All submissions are subject to peer reviews. Special session organizers will receive a 30% discount off the registration fees and serve as the session chair as honorariums. Registered payment should be complete by July 15, 2010 for inclusion of the accepted contribution into the conference publications.

Publications: Book (papers) for ISI CPCI index, and CD (papers & posters)
The accepted papers and posters will be included in ISBN-referenced CDROM Proceedings. In addition, accepted papers from regular and special sessions will be published by Taylor and Francis as a hardbound book entitled Ergonomics for All, which will be sent to Thomson Reuters for indexing application into the Conference Proceedings Citation Index under the ISI Web of Science.
Early-Bird Registration Fees: by July 15, 2010
The fees should be paid in New Taiwan dollars NT$.
Regular: NT$ 12,500 (approx. US$ 390)
Students: NT$ 6,000 (approx. US$ 186)
